Purpose

The Food Pantry Box was created to provide an easy location for people to receive items that they may need, as well as serve as a donation location for those who can donate.

How It Works

The Food Pantry Box has ten rows, each able to hold five cans for a total capacity of fifty cans. These rows each have a distance sensor which determine the amount of cans in each row at any given moment and send the data to a small computer within the box. Email alerts are sent whenever the stock is low to ensure the box is filled. Additional space is located below the rows for larger items.
